Code of Conduct
If we were to write rules for every possible learner misdemeanour, the document would be long and cumbersome. Instead, we present our expectations, which, with the help of the Holy Spirit and in partnership with the home and church, we all strive to meet. Our expectations are based on Jesus’ words in Matthew 22:37-39:
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbour as yourself.”
A. Expectations
1. Love the Lord Your God
- Worship God only and focus on Him daily.
- Use God’s Name respectfully; avoid profanity and obscenity.
- Submit to parents, educators, and authorities God has placed over us.
2. Love Your Neighbour
- Be truthful and honest.
- Be kind, considerate, tolerant, and forgiving.
- Show respect to staff, peers, and younger learners.
- Keep thoughts, words, and actions pure.
- Be thankful and care for property and resources.
- Obey instructions from those in authority.
3. Love Yourself
- Treat your body as a temple of the Holy Spirit: avoid smoking, alcohol, drugs, and sexual promiscuity.
- Wear the uniform correctly and maintain high academic standards.
- Participate in physical training and show good sportsmanship.
B. Unacceptable Behaviour
